PoE 2 Vendor Regex

This page turns the stats you look for while levelling into a regex for the vendor search, so the boots, rings and weapons worth buying light up as soon as you open a vendor.

  1. Click the stats you want in the Defence, Damage, Skills and General lists; the search box helps you find them. Movement speed takes a minimum, every other stat only has to be there.
  2. Open Vendor Filters to keep only your armour types. The Any mod | All mods switch in the bar sets whether an item needs any or all of your stats.
  3. Copy the string from the bar at the top, or turn on auto-copy, and paste it into the search box of the vendor window.

The bar at the top

Regex:
the string to paste into the in-game search. The counter next to it turns amber with 30 characters left and red past 250; the string is never shortened for you.
Copy:
puts the string on your clipboard.
Auto-copy:
the icon left of Copy. While it is on (green), every change is copied at once, so you can switch to the game and paste. It stays on until you reload the page or press Reset.
Save:
keeps the current search in a profile, in this browser. Once a saved search is loaded, its name shows at the right of the bar, Save updates it and the arrow next to Save keeps a copy instead.
Reset:
clears your selections, filters, search and custom text, turns auto-copy off and lets go of the loaded saved search, which stays saved.
Any mod | All mods:
how your selected modifiers combine: with Any mod an item needs at least one of them, with All mods every one. All costs a few more characters per modifier.

Frequently asked questions

What does the vendor regex match?

Quoted groups separated by spaces, all of which an item has to match: the armour type first, then the stats you selected. Your custom text goes last, added without quotes exactly as you type it. Stats only have to be on the item, whatever their value, and a resistance also counts when the item has all Elemental Resistances instead.

How does the armour type filter work?

Each chip is one exact base type: Armour is armour without an Evasion or Energy Shield line, Armour/ES has both of those lines. Ticked chips combine with or, so ES and Evasion/ES together become "!ur: \d" "ld: \d". Any ticked chip leaves out weapons and jewellery, which have none of these lines.

Why is an armour type chip greyed out?

The in-game search cannot write every set of types: Armour with Energy Shield, but not Armour/ES, would need "not both", which the search has no way to say. A chip that would leave such a set is disabled, and its tooltip names the types it conflicts with. Clear empties the filter.

How does the movement speed minimum work?

Boots roll movement speed in fixed tiers of 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 35%. Pick a minimum on the selected stat and the group matches that tier or a higher one: at least 20% becomes ^[23][05]% i.+mov. With Any it matches every movement speed boot.

What if the string gets longer than 250 characters?

The builder assumes the in-game search field takes 250 characters. The counter turns red past that, but the string is never shortened for you. Every all-mode group costs extra quotes and a space, so switching a long list to any is the quickest way back under 250 characters.
